Should I send it via the e-mail address on the website?

Actually, you'd be welcome to use this post if you think it would help girl and their mothers analyze and learn from current societal trends. Let me know if you'd like me to send you Nancy Drew isn't Real and the Traffickers aren't that Stupid--geared toward teen girls and raising their awareness, with a section for moms too.
Kimberly Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08648393867226454489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2569491202860661943.post-62027369026364109282013-07-11T22:19:55.299-04:002013-07-11T22:19:55.299-04:00I'm so glad you took the time to write this po...I'm so glad you took the time to write this post and touch upon two subjects near and dear to my heart -- impacting the next generation with the truth, particularly girls, while equipping their mothers with the words and directions they need to do just that!

And it is no surprise that this subject of sex trafficking is becoming something that I'm feeling burdened about, too. I appreciate your passionate and the discernment you bring about in this post.

If you ever would like to write a piece on this topic for More to Be (www.moretobe.com), or any that related to our readers, I'd welcome your contribution!Lisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10845894193543130893noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2569491202860661943.post-17215008704627211992013-07-11T21:52:48.246-04:002013-07-11T21:52:48.246-04:00Yes, exactly. Unfortunately, I think people of trafficking as being something that happens in dark alleys and criminal settings, and don't realize this whole system of alluring a potential victim in ways that seem harmless, or fun, at the time. I'm actually thankful for this video because it's gotten a lot of attention and people are realizing that young girls are crossing the line without understanding what might be on the other side. Thank you for caring about this important subject!Kimberly Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08648393867226454489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2569491202860661943.post-30697319159304806162013-07-11T21:49:21.392-04:002013-07-11T21:49:21.392-04:00I hear you and agree. Before that it was trains and cars. People keep giving my daughter dolls, but she's just not into them yet. I hope she will be one day, if for nothing else so I can get in some girly play too. =)
God bless you and your family, and your desire to raise your daughter right!Kimberly Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08648393867226454489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2569491202860661943.post-41101683951542562742013-07-11T13:57:44.666-04:002013-07-11T13:57:44.666-04:00This music video is troubling for all the reason t...This music video is troubling for all the reason that you've written about. What is even more puzzling is the fact that Willow's mother has appeared on national television programs raising awareness about human trafficking of women and girls. The "it's just harmless fun" attitude of the video is especially insidious as it lull's little girls and some parents into thinking this behavior and male attention is okay and won't lead anywhere. While that may be the case for some girls, far too many will find themselves walking into a trap.Swimming Upstreamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18104907948333555490noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2569491202860661943.post-26260944481779481572013-07-11T13:22:45.718-04:002013-07-11T13:22:45.718-04:00I was listening to my daughter and her friend as t...I was listening to my daughter and her friend as they played with their American Girl Dolls this morning, talking about where their dolls are from, what grade they're in (all made up information). I kept thinking to myself, "stay little, stay little, stay little..." She's almost 10 and while we've done pretty well with shielding her from pop culture like this song, I know Satan wants her innocence and her heart and will do anything to get to her. I can't imagine all the little girls who hear this song and think it's catchy and fun. :(:(Kristy Khttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05816266165596643837noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2569491202860661943.post-63260366188040268772013-07-11T13:09:27.181-04:002013-07-11T13:09:27.181-04:00Thank you for passing it along, Stacy!Thank you for passing it along, Stacy!Kimberly Raehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08648393867226454489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2569491202860661943.post-54918243475054280382013-07-11T12:40:33.622-04:002013-07-11T12:40:33.622-04:00This is just scary. I posted this on facebook in hopes her mother (and my other friends who have pre-teen-to-early-teen daughters) will read it and be aware. Thanks for talking about it!Stacy Anoreply@blogger.com
