Hang in there girl. I can tell you from experience that once you release the pain of the word "never", it gets a little easier. April 2009, I injured my back with a huge herniation of L5S1 (the waistline). I am not going to have surgery since there are no guarantee's that surgery will correct the problem and could be worse. I am living with now accepting some "never agains" in my life. I'm only 52, and wasn't prepared to slow anything down just quite yet. However, with being mindful of my limitations, I am learning to love that there is still some "still cans" in my future. I am trying very hard to park my brain over in those, though I'd be lying to you if I said I don't venture into the neverland and mope about things I've lost that I'm unable to do anymore.<br /><br />Kimberly, I want to encourage you to press on. Where you are now is where God wants you for whatever His purpose may be. If all you can do is love on your husband and kiddos - that, my dear, is enough.
